The Xaverian Missionaries are working in the Philippines since 1990. In this film we see the selflessness and hope of the people wanting to reach out to the poor, clear signs of the gospel alive.
Some teachers in the Philippines give up the comforts of home and family to make education possible for poor children, especially in far-flung areas. Multimedia journalist Ferdinandh Cabrera looks into the experience of one volunteer teacher in the hinterlands of Mindanao in the southern Philippines.
