Xaverian Missionary Suddenly Dies in Tragic Accident

Fr. Luigi Arnoldi was a passenger in a car with a friend and his wife, driving up a mountain road in Italy. His friend, who was driving, reached a curve and veered off the road, falling several meters before being caught by the trees below. Both Fr. Arnoldi and his friend did not survive the crash. He was 66 years old. The wife of his friend is in critical condition.

Up to now he has been the rector of the seminary program in Bujumbura, Burundi, Africa. He has been working in Burundi for 25 years. Please pray for him and his family during this most distressing time.
