In these last 25 years of missionary priesthood I have been whisked different continents of the world, and I marvel on the opportunities that unfolded in front of me to serve the mission of the Church. There are times when it seemed the easiest and most natural thing for me to be. I shared the pain and joy of so many, particularly through the Word of God and Eucharist. At other times, I faced some of the most difficult moments of my life, such as my settling in process in the Philippines, or times I spent with the poor in situations that should never have been experienced by a human being. In all of this the Lord continues to call me through times, places and the years.
